We were instructed as the structural engineer on a domestic extension which included removal of numerous internal walls. This meant that steel beams, masonry pier and wall designs were required to achieve building regulation approval. The design also cater for underpinning to the existing dwelling to facilitate the design of a basement and sunken terrace area.
