We have recently been engaged as the lead structural engineer for a residential development that required the design assessment for an additional storey over an existing building. The main design work entailed carrying out the structural assessment of the structural timber walls and assessment of the existing loads fro the additional building.

We have recently been instructed to carry out the full structural design for the conversion of an office block into residential flats. The scheme involves the assessment if additional floors over the existing building and the provision of a new large side extension with balconies.
