RETAINING WALL DESIGN

We recently carried out the design of a steel frame over a river that was required to give stability to an existing brick retaining wall that was in turn supporting a chemical plant.

The new stabilising steel frame also included the design of the associated thrust blocks that were needed to withstand horizontal slippage of the new frame and existing dilapidated brick retaining wall.
