BARN CONVERSION

The main works included cantilevered stairwells, underpinning and raft foundation designs, green oak timber trusses, cantilevered bedroom pods and numerous steel work beam and column designs.
LOFT CONVERSION

/in Projects /by adminWe have recently been appointed the lead structural engineer for a mixed used apartment block in central London for all structural engineering design aspects. The main work include basement retaining wall and slab designs, multi storey steelwork framing for the main building. All this is to be carried out whilst the main facade of the building is left in place.
DOMESTIC CONVERSION, LONDON
/in Projects /by adminWe have recently carried out the full structural design for the conversion of 2No. terraced properties in London into a series of flats. The main designs considered after being appointed as the main structural engineer for the project was the removal of a large number of internal load bearing walls. A rear extension was also carried out which involved the design of a piled foundation with a masonry/steel framework over. The designs also incorporated a green roof design.
DOMESTIC TIMBER FRAMED EXTENSION, EAST SUSSEX
/in Projects /by adminThese are 3D visuals of a recent project we were engaged as the lead structural engineer to carry out the full structural design package for a large rear extension to a grade listed building refurbishment. The main structural design work included the foundations, steel beams, timber frames walls and goal post arrangements for the lack or structural wind bracing walls. It also included the design of steelwork to support the large bi-fold doors to the rear aspect.
